1 1/2 oz Vodka
1/2 oz Passionfruit liqueur
1/6 oz Lime juice
3 drop Saline solution 4:1
3 1/2 oz Pink grapefruit juice

How to make

Serve in a highball (max 10oz/300ml)

  1. 1 Half-fill glass with ice and add the first 4 ingredients
  2. 2 STIR, TOP with pink grapefruit soda and then top up ice to fill the glass.

A fruity Salty Dog, rendered more approachable and less wild.

This recipe is an adaptation from a creation by Denis Yurco at Boilerman bar in Hamburg, Germany. "The Concept of BOILERMAN BARS are Highballs. Our focus is to take "Classics" and make them into quick and nice Highballs. For the upcoming 2022 menu, we like to make a forgotten American Day Drinking Classic, the SALTY DOG, as a highball. But all styles we tried to serve this easy simper as a new Highball sparkling fun drink ended up in 75% results. As we was inspired by the PORN STAR MARTINI and we knew the Boilerman Bar is all about Fun at Night, I decided to change the Name Porn Style to SALTY DOGGY STYLE. And the "evil plan" of a very accessible and flavourful Vodka Highball with a "porn" Name worked out to more than 4550 Salty Doggy Styles served in the last 12 months in all three Boilerman Bars."
