Ingredients

1 1/3 oz Aged Jamaican rum
2 oz Milk (whole/full 3-4% fat)
1/2 oz Sugar syrup 'rich' (2:1)
1 dash Aromatic bitters

How to make

Serve in a coupe glass

  1. 1 Select and pre-chill a COUPE GLASS.
  2. 2 Prepare garnish of grated nutmeg.

  1. 3 SHAKE all ingredients with ice.
  2. 4 STRAIN into chilled glass.

  1. 5 Dust with freshly grated nutmeg.

This drink is adapted from a recipe created circa 1937 by Don The Beachcomber at his Los Angeles bar. It was listed in the postprandial section of the establishment's menu.
