History

A Sidecar made with apple brandy (calvados) instead of brandy (cognac).

Harry Craddock is credited with creating the Royal Jubilee, which first appeared in the 1937 edition of U.K.B.G. Approved Cocktails. The proportions are listed as 25% lemon juice, 25% Cointreau, and 50% Calvados. This mixture should be combined with ice and then strained into a cocktail glass.
