Adapted from Harry Craddock's 1930 The Savoy Cocktail Book, the "ROSE COCKTAIL. (ENGLISH)" is prepared as follows: 1 Dash Lemon Juice. 4 Dashes Grenadine. ¼ Apricot Brandy. ¼ French Vermouth. ½ Dry Gin. Shake well and strain into a cocktail glass, frosting the rim with castor sugar.
