Ingredients

2 1/2 oz Rosso/sweet vermouth
1/2 oz Agricole rhum (unaged)
1/2 oz Orange Curaçao
3 dash Aromatic bitters
2 drop Saline solution 4:1

How to make

Serve in a old-fashioned glass

Prepare

  1. 1 Select and pre-chill an OLD-FASHIONED GLASS.
  2. 2 Prepare garnish of orange zest twist and green olives.

Method

  1. 3 STIR all ingredients with ice.
  2. 4 STRAIN into ice-filled glass (preferably over a large cube or chunk of block ice).

Garnish

  1. 5 EXPRESS orange zest twist over the cocktail and use as garnish, along with olives.

A variation on the Spanish Marianito, featuring agricole rhum.

Nialls Fallon created this drink in 2004 at his Eel Bar in Manhattan, New York City, USA. The original recipe featured Atxa Rojo vermouth and Holmes Cay rhum agricole.
