1/6 oz Sugar syrup 'rich' (2:1)

  2. 2 Prepare garnish of skewered green grapes.
  3. 3 STIR all ingredients with ice.
  4. 4 STRAIN into ice-filled glass.

Reggatta de Blanc (White Reggae) was the title of the second and seminal album by the English rock band The Police. The album's French name reflects the significant influence of French products in this cocktail. Conveniently, for approval by the naming committee (the author's missus), most of the ingredients are also decidedly "blanc".
