History

Port and brandy are traditional Christmas drinks and a popular British pub combo. Maple syrup replaces brown sugar syrup for light sweetness in this festive after-dinner drink. The Sazerac inspired the choice of bitters and absinthe.

The Old-Fashioned cocktail has a rich history and various recipe iterations.
