History
Tangy, fruity, and flavourful, with clove spice, fragrant floral pisco, and elderflower, complemented by pineapple and grapefruit. (If pimento dram is unavailable, muddle two cloves in the shaker base before other ingredients and shaking with ice.)
This drink is a variation on the classic Pisco Punch, which gained fame before Prohibition at San Francisco's The Bank Exchange Bar. The Transamerica Pyramid skyscraper now occupies the site of The Bank Exchange, located at the corner of Washington & Montgomery Streets, which inspired the drink's name and wedge-shaped garnish.
