1 oz Peated malt whisky
1 oz Fernet liqueur
1 oz Rosso/sweet vermouth
1/2 oz Amaro (e.g. Montenegro)
3 drop Saline solution 4:1

How to make

Serve in a coupe glass

Prepare

  1. 1 Select and pre-chill a COUPE GLASS.
  2. 2 Prepare garnish of skewered Luxardo Maraschino Cherry.

Method

  1. 3 STIR all ingredients with ice.
  2. 4 FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.

Garnish

  1. 5 Garnish with skewered cherry.

History

A smoky, bittersweet digestif combining Rob Roy and Hanky Panky influences.

This recipe was adapted from a 2021 creation by Kraig Rovensky, the general manager at Life on Mars in Seattle, Washington, USA. The original version calls for Laphroaig 10-year single malt and Amaro Cinpatrazzo.
