This cocktail is adapted from a recipe featured in Harry Craddock's 1930 publication, The Savoy Cocktail Book. The "President" cocktail calls for "2 Dashes Grenadine", "The Juice of ¼ Orange", and "1 Glass Bacardi Rum". It is prepared by shaking these ingredients well and then straining them into a cocktail glass.
