1 oz Grain whisky
1/3 oz Pinot Noir red wine
1/3 oz Strawberry liqueur
1/3 oz Vanilla sugar syrup
2/3 oz Lemon juice
Top up with Prosecco

How to make

Serve in a sling glass

Prepare

  1. 1 Select and pre-chill a SLING GLASS.
  2. 2 Prepare garnish of mint sprigs and icing sugar.

Method

  1. 3 SHAKE first 5 ingredients with ice.
  2. 4 STRAIN into ice-filled glass.
  3. 5 TOP with sparkling wine and briefly stir.

  1. 6 Garnish with mint sprigs bouquet.

History

Jammy strawberry fruit and vanilla cream fortified by grain whisky and enlivened by prosecco.

Robb Collins, Group Head Bartender at London Cocktail Club, London, England, created this drink in 2018. He describes it as a "Beautiful drink for Christmas, long, fruity and refreshing, and of course a nice touch of bubbles."
