  2. 2 Prepare garnish of half orange juice and sugar-rimmed glass.
  3. 3 SHAKE all ingredients with ice.
  4. 4 FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.

History

A sour with generous pear drop flavour.

Marco Dionysos created this drink in 1995 at Saucebox in Portland, Oregon, as a gift for his ex-wife, Sarah. Jim Meehan's PDT Cocktail Book states that "He named it the Perfect Pear in honor of their marriage and the King Crimson song 'Three of a Perfect Pair'."
