Ingredients

1 1/3 oz Gin
2/3 oz Rose petal liqueur
2/3 oz Lemon juice
1/6 oz Sugar syrup 'rich' (2:1)
1/2 oz Egg white (pasteurised)
1 dash Rhubarb bitters

How to make

Serve in a coupe glass

Prepare

  1. 1 Select and pre-chill a COUPE GLASS.
  2. 2 Prepare garnish of lemon zest twist.

  1. 3 SHAKE all ingredients with ice.
  2. 4 FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.

Garnish

  1. 5 EXPRESS lemon zest twist over the cocktail and use as garnish.

A rose-flavoured gin sour enhanced by the thoughtful inclusion of rhubarb bitters.

This is an adaptation of a recipe created in 2023 by J. E. Clapham of Clapham Cocktails. The original recipe specifies the use of Briottet Rose liqueur. Andrea Palladio, an Italian Renaissance architect who lived from 1508 to 1580, is recognized as one of the most influential figures in Western architectural history.
