History
Cognac replaced bourbon in an early rendition due to a misreading of the recipe. While both versions are excellent, the cognac variation is preferred, with olive oil contributing mouthfeel and flavour to both.
This drink is adapted from a 2023 creation by Lorenzo Antinori at Bar Leone in Hong Kong. It has become the establishment's signature, prepared in a spindle blender instead of being shaken.
