History
Peaty Islay malt and calvados create a spicy, warming on-the-rocks drink.
This recipe is an adaptation of a drink first created in 2014 by Andrea Buttier, an Italian bartender from Bologna. Buttier was working at The Loft in Clapham Common at the time. His original recipe called for Laphroaig 10 year old as the malt component, combined with equal parts calvados, 1 shot of Stones ginger wine, ½ shot of simple syrup, and 2 dashes of Peychaud bitters.
