History
Spirit-forward and bittersweet. As the name implies, this is a suitable cocktail for late-night enjoyment.
Adapted from a recipe created by Chris Hannah at Arnaud's French 75 in New Orleans and named after a local hero, jazz piano player, Dr. John, nicknamed the Night Tripper. This cocktail has become a signature cocktail at a href="/bars/J7Owa7/jewel-of-the-south">Jewel of the South in New Orleans, where Chris is a partner and bartender.
