History

A spirituous, apple brandy-forward variation on the Sweet Manhattan, featuring generous splashes of fernet and maraschino liqueur instead of aromatic bitters.

Jim Meehan and John Deragon created this recipe in autumn 2007 at PDT in Manhattan, New York City. Their original recipe calls for a full 60ml (2oz) of bonded applejack, resulting in a very spirituous cocktail.
