A delicious take on a Dry Martini using dry sherry and orange.
This drink is adapted from a recipe found in Lucius Beebe's 1946 book, The Stork Club Bar Book. The "Mr. New Yorker" is described as follows: 1¾ oz. French vermouth ½ oz gin ½ oz. dry sherry Dash of cointreau It is to be stirred and strained into a 3 oz. cocktail glass.
