History

Freshness from lemon zest oils enhances this smooth, old-tom gin Sweet Martini.

This cocktail is adapted from a recipe attributed to Julian Anderson, who served as the bartender at The Montana Club from 1893 to 1953. The Montana Club, a private club located in Helena, Montana, USA, considers this its signature drink. Over his 60 years at the club, Anderson prepared countless Montana Club Martinis and included the recipe in his 1919 self-published book, Julian's Recipes.
