History

Mint, cognac, port, lemon and maraschino subtly contribute to this Cuban take on Mexico.

This recipe was adapted from the 1937 menu of Bar Florida, which was later renamed Floridita, in Havana, Cuba. The Julep's contentious history and its variants are discussed on our page.
