History

This bittersweet aperitivo has attractive almond notes and is relatively low in alcohol. The sambuca adds depth of flavour, well-integrated rather than standing out.

This signature cocktail, the best seller at Sant Ambroeus locations in Milan, Paris, New York, Miami, and elsewhere, was adapted from a recipe developed in Spring 2026 by Damiano Coren, Director of Cocktail Programming for the Sant Ambroeus restaurant group. The cocktail was created to commemorate Sant Ambroeus' 90th anniversary and serves as a tribute to the group's inaugural restaurant, which opened in Milan in 1936.
