History

A mezcal-based Margarita variation with bergamot liqueur instead of triple sec.

This drink is based on a nightcap shot made in early 2020 by Jack McGarry at The Dead Rabbit in Manhattan for Giuseppe Gallo, the founder of Italicus Rosolio. This inspired Giuseppe to create the Mezcalicus, which has since been featured on drink menus throughout America's southern states.
