Ingredients
1/2 oz Mezcal
1/2 oz Blanco tequila
1 oz Orange-red aperitivo
1 oz Dry vermouth
1 dash Orange bitters
How to make
Serve in a old-fashioned glass
Prepare
- 1 Select and pre-chill an OLD-FASHIONED GLASS.
- 2 Prepare garnish of orange slice wheel.
Method
- 3 STIR all ingredients with ice.
- 4 STRAIN into ice-filled glass (preferably over a large cube or chunk of block ice).

- 5 Garnish with orange slice.

This drink is an agave spirit-based variation on John Gertsen's gin-based Contessa. It was inspired by Tiago Carpenedo's Brazilian Contessa.
