History
A Tequila Sour with ginger spice and honey notes.
This cocktail was created in 2009 by Marcos Tello at The Varnish in Los Angeles, USA. In January 2022, the recipe was updated. The earlier version, intended as an after-dinner drink, contained 60ml (2oz) Blanco tequila, 10ml (1/3oz) Honey syrup (3:1), and 10ml (1/3oz) Ginger syrup. The instructions were to shake all ingredients with ice and strain into an ice-filled old-fashioned glass, garnished with candied ginger and a spray of mezcal.
