History

The subtly smoky notes of mezcal combine brilliantly with the aromatic bittersweetness of gentian liqueur in this complex aperitivo. If using dry vermouth instead of bianco vermouth, add 2.5ml rich sugar syrup.

This drink is adapted from one created in 2015 by Julio Xoxocotla at Ward III in New York City.
