History
This Martinez is aromatic, complex and dry. Previous recipe included dry vermouth for balance and complexity: 60ml (2oz) Dry gin, 15ml (½oz) Sweet vermouth, 7.5ml (¼) Dry vermouth, 5ml (1 barspoon) Maraschino liqueur, 1 dash Aromatic bitters.
For over 100 years, London dry has been the dominant gin style. By extension, it was the gin most frequently used to make a Martinez.
