History

A vermouth-forward Spanish Negroni variation, served over ice or straight up.

Traditionally made with Spanish vermouth, the Marianito originated in northern Spain and is particularly popular in the Basque Country, La Rioja, and the city of Burgos. Its proper name is "Marianito Preparado"; however, ordering a "Marianito" in many Spanish bars may result in being served a small glass of vermouth.
