History

Deliciously simple, boozy, Negroni-like, very tasty, perfect for late-night sipping.

The M + M, an abbreviation of Monte y Mezcal, originated in 2015. Marco Montefiori, associated with Amaro Montenegro, is credited with its creation. Later, Robert Krueger of Employee's Only in New York, USA, helped to popularize the drink. Among bartenders, this 50/50 blend of Montenegro and Mezcal, served straight up as a shot, has become so well-liked that it is now known by the moniker Manager's Meeting.
