History
An elderflower twist on the classic Last Word cocktail.
This cocktail was created by Jen Marshall, Beverage Director at Nitehawk Cinema in Brooklyn, New York City. She was inspired by the 2011 American adventure drama film Hugo, whose backstory about Georges Méliès' life is largely true. The film recounts how Méliès, a magician and toymaker, became interested in film after seeing a demonstration of the Lumière brothers' camera. He was later forced into bankruptcy and became a toy salesman at Paris' Montparnasse station. The cocktail's name is an obscure reference to the Lumière brothers.
