History
A lemon zest twist provides the sole non-British element in this patriotic, mead-infused riff on a Paisley Martini, with citrus oils bridging the gap between the three British spirits and Martini character.
James VI was King of Scotland from 24 July 1567. He was the son of Mary, Queen of Scots, and a great-great-grandson of Henry VII. On 24 March 1603, the crowns of England and Scotland were united, and he became King of England and Ireland, titled "James I". His reign over all three kingdoms lasted 22 years, concluding with his death in 1625. This period is referred to as the Jacobean era.
