History
A Bronx using equal parts rosso and dry vermouths, and Angostura bitters instead of orange.
The Income Tax cocktail, a variation on the Bronx cocktail, made its first appearance in Harry Craddock's 1930 The Savoy Cocktail Book. The recipe includes ½ Dry Gin, ¼ French Vermouth, ¼ Italian Vermouth, The Juice of ¼ Orange, and 1 Dash Angostura Bitters. It is shaken well, then strained into a cocktail glass. Information on Bronx history and variations is also included.
