History

This "Improved" Blood Orange Margarita has a rich red colour, complex agave notes, and bittersweet zesty citrus, using añejo tequila and the addition of mezcal. Sugar syrup is used instead of agave syrup.

This is a riff on Ben Davidson's Blood Orange Margarita, developed by the Discerning Drinkers community, notably Chris Brislawn, Calvin Grant, and Avery Garnett.
