History

A zesty, bittersweet, sweet 'n' sour aperitivo. A dried apricot garnish complements the cocktail, which is best served on the rocks.

John Barraclough created this drink in London, England, in 2017. He described his creation as "a yellow version of Sam Ross's Paper Plane" that has "the perfume of a hayfield in late summer." The original recipe from John specified 30ml bourbon, 25ml gentian liqueur, 15ml apricot liqueur, and 15ml lemon juice.
