History
Amaro and lemon oils overwhelm absinthe and rye whiskey in this cocktail.
This drink is based on a 2009 recipe by Maksym Pazuniak and Kirk Estopinal, first featured in their book Rogue Cocktails, from Cure bar in New Orleans, Louisiana. Its full name, "Growing Old and Dying Happy Is a Hope, Not an Inevitability," is too long for our database.
