Ingredients
8 fresh Basil leaves
1 1/2 oz Irish whiskey
3/4 oz Lemon juice
1/2 oz Sugar syrup 'rich' (2:1)
1 1/2 oz Prosecco
How to make
Serve in a double old-fashioned glass
Prepare
- 1 Select and pre-chill a DOUBLE OLD-FASHIONED GLASS.
- 2 Prepare garnish of basil leaf.
Method
- 3 MUDDLE basil in base of shaker.
- 4 Add next 3 ingredients (all but sparkling wine) and SHAKE with ice.
- 5 FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.
- 6 TOP with prosecco and briefly stir.

- 7 Garnish with basil leaf.
