History
This dry, spirituous, Martini-like apéritif combines malty genever and celery bitters with Yellow Chartreuse's richness, dried by vermouth.
This drink is adapted from a 2017 recipe by Zachary Faden of Mirabelle in Washington D.C., USA. The name Embrasse de la Terre, which translates from French to 'Kissing the Earth,' was given to the cocktail that won the 2017 Tales of the Cocktail Official Cocktail Competition. Zachary's original recipe calls for 2 Rutte Old Simon Genever, 1 Dolin Dry Vermouth de Chambéry, ¼ Yellow Chartreuse and 3 dash Bitter Truth Celery Bitters.
