Ingredients
1 oz Rye whiskey 50% abv
1 oz Bourbon whiskey
1/4 oz Maraschino syrup
8 drop Vanilla bitters
2 oz Cola
How to make
Serve in a double old-fashioned glass
Prepare
- 1 Select and pre-chill a DOUBLE OLD-FASHIONED GLASS.
- 2 Prepare garnish of orange zest twist and skewered Luxardo Maraschino Cherries.
Method
- 3 STIR first 3 ingredients with ice.
- 4 ADD cola and then STRAIN into ice-filled glass.
Garnish
- 5 EXPRESS orange zest twist over the cocktail and use as garnish.
- 6 Garnish with skewered maraschino cherry.

This cocktail is adapted from the signature drink served at St. Elmo Steak House in Indianapolis, USA, since 2012, when hospitality consultant Tim Kirkland introduced it.
