History

Essentially a Last Word, but made with tequila instead of gin.

The Last Word, a classic vintage cocktail, was first recorded in Ted Saucier's 1951 book, Bottoms Up. The creation of the drink was credited to the Detroit Athletic Club. In 2008, bartenders at New York's PDT bar modified the recipe to create a drink named after their neighborhood.
