1 1/2 oz Light gold rum 1-3yo
1/2 oz Rhubarb aperitivo (e.g. Santoni)
1/4 oz Vanilla sugar syrup
1/4 oz Passion fruit syrup
1 oz Lime juice

How to make

Serve in a coupe glass

Method

  1. 1 Select and pre-chill a COUPE GLASS.
  2. 2 Prepare garnish of add a barspoon of passion fruit seeds and flesh to cocktail. Serve with a shot of sparkling wine on the side..
  3. 3 SHAKE all ingredients with ice.
  4. 4 FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.

History

Fruity, bittersweet, and sweet 'n' sour, this is more an aperitivo Daiquiri than a Porn Star Martini.

Julian de Féral created this cocktail in February 2022 at the Kindred Club in Hammersmith, London. He adapted it as a tribute to West London's cocktail scene, blending two favored drinks from the area: the Dry Daiquiri by Kevin Armstrong (Trailer Happiness) and the Pornstar Martini by Douglas Ankrah (Townhouse). Initially, the drink featured Bonanto Spanish aperitif liqueur and was garnished with passion fruit "popping pearls," similar to those used in boba tea, added to the accompanying sparkling wine.
