1 2/3 oz Blanco tequila
1 oz Pink grapefruit juice
1/2 oz Red bell pepper juice
1/3 oz Sugar syrup 'rich' (2:1)
1 2/3 oz Soda water

How to make

Serve in a collins glass

Prepare

  1. 1 Select and pre-chill a COLLINS GLASS.
  2. 2 RIM glass with Tajín seasoning (moisten outside edge with lime or orange juice and drip into Tajín).

Method

  1. 3 SHAKE first 4 ingredients with ice.
  2. 4 Open shaker and ADD soda water.
  3. 5 STRAIN into ice-filled glass.

Garnish

  1. 6 No additional garnish. (The preprepared rim is garnish enough.)

History

A Paloma variation that features red bell pepper infusion.

Meaghan Dorman developed the original recipe in New York City circa 2019, which has been adapted here. Dorman's recipe includes a homemade red bell pepper sugar syrup, used instead of pepper juice and sugar syrup.
