Ingredients

1/2 oz Fernet liqueur
20 dried Raisins
2 oz Cognac (brandy)
1/4 oz Sugar syrup 'rich' (2:1)
1/6 oz Coffee liqueur
1 dash Orange bitters

How to make

Serve in a old-fashioned glass

Prepare

  1. 1 Select and pre-chill an OLD-FASHIONED GLASS.
  2. 2 No garnish to prepare.

Method

  1. 3 POUR fernet into ice-filled glass.
  2. 4 Separately, MUDDLE raisins in base of shaker.
  3. 5 Add other ingredients and SHAKE with ice.
  4. 6 DISCARD contents of glass and STRAIN contents of shaker into the chilled fernet-coated glass.

Garnish

  1. 7 Serve naked, without garnish.
