2 oz Irish whiskey
1/4 oz Chartreuse Green
1/4 oz Rosso/sweet vermouth
1/4 oz Falernum liqueur

Serve in a coupe glass

  1. 1 Select and pre-chill a COUPE GLASS.
  2. 2 Prepare garnish of dehydrated lemon slice wheel.

  2. 4 FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.

History

Irish whiskey with sweet vermouth, clove-rich falernum, and monastic liqueur.

This cocktail is adapted from a drink created in 2010 by Donovan Sornig, Bar Manager at Bol Restaurant in Vail, Colorado. Sornig's creation was inspired by The Last Word, a cocktail created at the Detroit Athletic Club. Sornig grew up just four miles from Detroit.
