Ingredients

1 1/2 oz Peated malt whisky
3/4 oz Lemon juice
1/2 oz Orange Curaçao
1/4 oz Ginger syrup
1 2/3 oz Lemonade

How to make

Serve in a collins glass

  1. 1 SHAKE first 4 ingredients with ice and strain into ice-filled glass
  2. 2 TOP with lemonade.

History

Smoky whisky, orange, and ginger combine in this Collins.

This variation of the Auld Alliance was named after the MacDonald clan, whose ancestral home was Knock Castle, also known as Caisteal Chamuis (Castle Camus). This is also the name of the peaty whisky used as the base for this cocktail.
