History
This Churchillian is formidable, perhaps better served with ice than Sazerac-style.
This drink comes from a 2021 recipe by J. E. Clapham of Clapham Cocktails. Mr Clapham stated, "What would you serve Winston Churchill, who wasn't a fan of cocktails? This might just persuade him. He drank (diluted) Johnnie Walker all day, enjoyed cognac after supper, and disliked vermouth." The recipe specifies Johnnie Walker Black Label scotch whisky.
