History

Richly sweet and sour, the Chalet Cochand offers a citrusy, velvet-clad, rum-laced, fruitcake-flavoured digestivo suitable as a late-night tipple.

This cocktail originates from Chalet Cochand, located in the Laurentian Mountains, Quebec. It is adapted from a recipe found in Ted Saucier's 1951 book, Bottoms Up. The proportions are as follows: ½ jigger rum ½ jigger sherry 4 dashes lemon juice Ice Instructions call for shaking the ingredients and then straining them into a cocktail glass.
