Ingredients

1 1/2 oz Vodka
3/4 oz Coffee liqueur
3/4 oz Hazelnut liqueur
3/4 oz Whipping cream

How to make

Serve in a martini glass

Prepare

  1. 1 Select and pre-chill a MARTINI GLASS.
  2. 2 Prepare garnish of grated nutmeg.

Method

  1. 3 SHAKE first 3 ingredients with ice.
  2. 4 STRAIN into chilled glass.
  3. 5 Shake or whip cream to aerate then carefully pour to FLOAT on the surface of the cocktail.

Garnish

  1. 6 Dust with freshly grated nutmeg.

Sip hazelnut and coffee through cream; a dessert drink.

This drink, Casse Noisette, was first made in 2001 by Julien Escot at the Hotel du Cap-Eden Roc in Cap d'Antibes, France. It later won the 2004 London Drinks International Bartender's Challenge.
