History

The flavours of caprese salad served in a Dirty Vodkatini.

Drinks writer Robert Simonson's earliest finding for the Caprese Martini is a review from 29 September 2004 on the Encore Lunch Club and Liquid Lounge by Amina Ahktar in the Chicago Tribune. Ahktar described the cocktail as "the most bizarre, bitter and bilious concoctions we could find."
