History

Rye whiskey underpins this digestivo/late-night sipper with waves of delicate, bittersweet herbal flavors.

Craig Eliason, Professor of Art History at the University of St. Thomas in Saint Paul, Minnesota, and an avid cocktail enthusiast, adapted this drink from a 2020 recipe he created. Eliason developed this cocktail specifically for the Society of Architectural Historians' 80th Anniversary Celebration. In a fitting tribute, he used the Amaro Lucano Anniversario edition.
