History

Faintly peaty honeyed whisky with a cleansing lemon hint, rounded by almond. Egg white improves this sour, though not classically used.

The cocktail known as the Cameron's Kick is first documented in Harry MacElhone's 1922 publication, the ABC of Mixing Cocktails. It subsequently appears in Harry Craddock's 1930 work, The Savoy Cocktail Book. CAMERON'S KICK COCKTAIL. 1/3 Scotch Whisky. 1/3 Irish Whisky. 1/6 Lemon Juice. 1/6 Orgeat Syrup. Shake well and strain into cocktail glass.
