4 oz Beef bouillon/consommé
1/2 oz Lemon juice
3 dash Worcestershire sauce
3 dash Red hot pepper sauce
1 pinch Salt
1 grind Black pepper

Serve in a collins glass

  1. 1 Select and pre-chill a COLLINS GLASS.
  2. 2 Prepare garnish of celery salt rim.
  3. 3 SHAKE all ingredients with ice.
  4. 4 STRAIN into ice-filled glass.

He claimed to have invented it in 1920 in Paris, but this is not confirmed. The drink gained popularity in New York City after 1939.
